Two different variations to try out:
Preparation time: in total approx. 15 minutes in total Servings: Two versions for three slices of bread each
Ingredients:
300 g celery approx. half a perennial
Potato bread 6 slices
Cucumber
200 g smoked salmon
½ cup crème fraîche
Pinch of salt & pepper
Three drops of lemon juice
Some dill and chives to taste
50 g rocket
200 g Italian spicy salami
Red onion slices
Balsamic cream to taste
Preparation:
Cucumber, salami, red onion and, of course, cut the bread with an electric slicer. The other ingredients, such as dill and chives, are best chopped. Remove the smoked salmon from the packaging and dab dry, wash the rocket. Then lay out all the ingredients on the work surface and start making the sandwiches. Spread the first three slices with a blob of crème fraîche, then top with the smoked salmon, put a drop of lemon juice on the salmon, top with the nicely sliced cucumber slices – now salt and pepper and add dill and chives if you like.
The other three slices are first topped with the rocket, then the sliced/ringed red onions, followed by the salami. Now drizzle the balsamic cream over the top and it’s ready.

TIP: If you like it crispy, you can put the bread slices in the toaster or in the oven beforehand and enjoy the topped bread warm and crispy.
