Crispy chicken wings in a spicy sauce: Chicken wings are quickly ready in the hot air fryer and the finger food stays juicy. Chicken wings are ideal for parties – they are inexpensive, easy to make yourself and can be eaten out of hand without cutlery. If you don’t like BBQ sauce, you can also spread other marinades on them. Cole slaw is a great side dish and a sour cream dip softens the spiciness of the marinade.
Preparation time: in total approx. 40 minutes in total Servings: 4 portions
Ingredients:
approx. 1000 g chicken wings (without tips)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika powder, smoked
1/4 tsp baking powder
salt and black pepper
100 ml BBQ sauce
Preparation:
Cut the wings at the joint, wash and pat dry. Mix the oil with the spices and turn the chicken wings in it several times. Then simply place them in the basket of the hot air fryer and cook the chicken wings for around 20 minutes at approx. 175 degrees. Take out the basket once in between and shake briefly. After the 20 minutes, simply brush the chicken wings with the BBQ sauce and fry at approx. 200 degrees for another 10 minutes until brown. Afterwards, you can serve the wings with cole slaw, for example.
