Homemade yogurt ist really super delicious! Plus, it contains no artificial flavors, additives or masses of sugar compared to the purchased yogurt from the supermarket. When making yoghurt by yourself, you determine the ingredients yourself! We show you how to easily make your own yogurt:
Preparation time: approx. 10 hours
Ingredients:
1 liter of milk (alternatively: vegan milk such as soy, almond or oat drink)
1 cup of natural yogurt (250g) or dextrorotatory yogurt cultures from the health food store
4 ripe kiwi
1 tbsp. of roasted and chopped pistachios
some fresh mint
Preparation:
Heat milk to lukewarm (about 45°C) in a large pot and mix in the plain yogurt or cultures. Pour the mixture into the rinsed jars and set the yogurt maker for at least 8 hours.
Once the yogurt is ready, peel kiwis and mash them finely. Mix yogurt, kiwi and pistachios and garnish with fresh mint.
Tip: The longer the yogurt matures, the stronger the flavor will be.
